Description

This series contains photographs related to club buildings (affiliated with auto clubs, Returned Services League, Girl Guides, Young Womens Christian Association, Freemasons, sports clubs and cultural clubs) across Australia in the 1950s and 1960s. The photographs in this series were published in the Cross-Section newsletter between 1955 and 1969. Notable architects include Bates Smart & McCutcheon and Yunken Freeman Brothers Griffiths & Simpson. Notable photographers include Wolfgang Sievers and David Moore.
